I made a wedding cake!

And it turned out super well! The bottom tier was 3 layers, and the top 2 tiers were each 2 layers. It was a chocolate raspberry cake with chocolate ganache filling. Then each tier was crumb coated in homemade buttercream, and covered in fondant (that I bought and rolled out). The fondant was not my best friend, though I love the look it gave. I put ribbon on the bottom of each, and then decorated with more buttercream! At the last minute I decided to try and make calla lilies out of my leftover fondant, and then colored the leaves and stamens. I didn't know if they'd look good or not, since I didn't try to set them on the cake before I delivered it...nor did I even stack the cakes on top of each other before i left- thank GOD that worked!-...but it all looked good when I put it together!  It just happened to POUR down rain on the night I had to drive the cake an hour and a half away, so that was...stressful. But whatev, it turned out well :)
